ABOUT ME

Oh hey there! Thanks for stopping by.

My name is Shenai Chan! I graduated from Carnegie Mellon in May 2024 with a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and minors in Human-Computer Interaction and Physical Computing. Also in 2024, I completed a 12-week programming retreat at the Recurse Center, where, most notably, I developed Notes From Afar, a site where you can leave anonymous notes about your long distance loves. Now, I'm wearing various engineering, design, and operations hats at Electra Research, where we're building a plug'n'play, battery-enabled induction stove in service of a more distributed, reliable, clean energy future.

My interests and skills lie along the axes of full-stack web development, UX design & research, embedded systems/IoT, and technical communication. Please reach out via email (shenaiwc [at] gmail [dot] com) if you'd like to chat!

I'm currently exploring... building a Goodreads clone, making comics, power electronics.

I'd like to explore... making games/interactive narratives, Blender, mixed reality.

Thanks for checking out my little homemade site and have a nice day!

P.S. Here is a picture of my dog. His name is Latte.
